The Seminary Advantage exists to restore the Church to the level of power experienced during the first-century, as chronicled in the Book of Acts. The Seminary Advantage will relentlessly teach the importance of the Ministry Gifts outlined in Ephesians 4:11 to the health, power, and authority of the Church.
Statement
The Seminary Advantage provides training and instruction on how to successfully Identify, Categorize, Equip, and Deploy ministry leaders within local Church bodies and communities to impact the world with the Kingdom of God – His will, culture, and intent. The Seminary Advantage will provide its members with tools and training to manifest God’s Love and Liberty in Christ to a world desperately needing to experience Jesus.
Identify
The Seminary Advantage will work with local, regional, national, and global leaders to help individuals who are called to the work of the ministry to discover and sharpen their ministry gift. One of the great problems facing the Body of Christ is that individuals have no idea what ministry gift God has imparted to them. The Seminary Advantage will produce and distribute material that facilitates identification of these gifts.
Categorize
The Seminary Advantage will work with leaders to help categorize them into proper vertical application areas (e.g., Training Church, Education, Arts) and determine any horizontal tangencies, that is, touch-points or tangent relationships to other areas.
Equip
The Seminary Advantage will provide training and documentation to allow leaders to function effectively. As a governing body with members representing all five ministry gifts, SA is uniquely positioned to provide training that will include (but not be limited to):
- Books and training documentation
- Classroom instruction/Correspondence Courses
- Video/Audio instruction
- Mentor-ship
The equipping aspect of The Seminary Advantage Campus will mitigate the practice of ministers and ministries going into the world, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom without adequate training. When leaders are properly trained in Kingdom principles, they do not fail.
Deploy
The Seminary Advantage Campus will work with trained leaders to go into the world, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and making disciples of all the nations. The (SA) will assist leaders in identifying ministry opportunities, applying the training they have received, and sending them into the word to spread the Good News of Jesus and His Kingdom. The assistance provided will include (but not be limited to):
- Discipleship training
- Church planting/Church governance
- Mutual accountability/Support network
- Grant writing
- Publishing assistance
- Financial assistance
Participants in the Seminary Advantage Campus are never alone in ministry. Mutual accountability means there will always be someone to connect with. Moreover, successful ministry cannot be accomplished without the aid of the Holy Spirit and is difficult without the assistance of a community mutually dedicated to successfully spread the Gospel.
Connection
The net result of the SA Campus is that the pressure to be “one-man shows” will be lifted. Through the Identification, Equipping, and Deploying of ministry resources, connections will be made that will facilitate all ministry gifts to work together to encourage and edify the Body of Christ.
Local Pastors Teachers will be able to connect with Apostles for governance, Prophets for encouragement and exhortation, Evangelists for “dragnet” soul-winning, and Teachers to help draw out deep truths from the Word of God.
This model is not limited to Pastors, Teachers, Evangelist, as other ministry gifts will be connected and empowered to draw on one another to ensure the Body of Christ is fitly joined to accomplish the advancement of the Kingdom of God
